Peace be upon us
WASHINGTON - Here it is, the United States Institute of Peace building under construction on the northwest section of the National Mall.
I stumbled upon it by chance, but obviously it's hard to miss. The institute is nonpartisan but established and funded by Congress.
The five-story, 150,000-square-foot building will open soon, but world peace will likely not come to quickly.
